The Cheam Sports Gold Glove Awards
The Rawlings Gold Glove Award (or just the Gold Glove) is an annual award given to minor league baseball (MLB) players who have exhibited superior fielding performances at each fielding position. Managers and coaches vote for who they believe are most deserving.
We’ve taken this award and made it our own for Chilliwack Minor Baseball. Here’s a breakdown of how the divisions look:
House Division

We award the Gold Glove trophy to one member on each team in each division.
Rep Division

Winners are given a custom designed Heart of the Hide Rawlings Glove. The winners come into our store and work with us to design their own glove.
Timeline:
- April. 13th / 2019 – voting begins.
- June. 1st / 2019 – House Division winners are selected. We’re given the names so we can get the trophies ready.
- Mid-June – Year-End for the House Division. This is when the winners are presented with their trophies.
- July 1st / 2019 – Rep Division winners are selected. We’re given the names so we can get the trophies ready.
- Last week of July – Year-End for the Rep Division. This is when the winners are presented with their trophies.
